**Gaz à Effet de Serre**. Ces derniers sont nombreux et participent à absorber le rayonnement infrarouge émis par la surface terrestre contribuant ainsi à l'effet de serre. Le plus connu d’entre eux est le CO2 mais d’autres gaz participent également à réchauffer l’atmosphère notamment le méthane (CH4) et le protoxyde d’azote (N2O). Leur contribution à l'effet de serre s’évalue en fonction de leur Pouvoir Réchauffant Global (PRG).
